Turkish Prime Minister, Binali Yıldırım, announced that winter time will no longer be implemented in Turkey starting from this year, and there will be no clocks rolling backward or forward again in Turkey.
"From now on, there will be no excuses for coming late to work," Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım said joking. ''daylight savings time will be used every year and we will use the sunlight as much as possible," Yıldırım said in a speech broadcasted live on the Turkish state television 'TRT.'
The US president, Benjamin Franklin, was the first developing this idea of working in the daylight savings time and that was in 1784. Yet, that idea has not been applied effectively till the beginning of the twentieth century.
However, working in the winter-summer time system continues in 88 countries around the world.
