Turkey signed nine agreements in order to enhance the volume of trade with Tanzania, on the sidelines of the official visit conducted by the Turkish President, "Recep Tayyip Erdogan," and accompanied by a number of Turkish ministers and businessmen.

The agreements included many economic and trade fields with cooperating agreements in the field of defense, education, and developmental industries, also reinforcing cooperation in the health field.

Furthermore, the agreements overseen by both the Turkish President and Prime Minister of Tanzania has included, tourism, and air navigation fields, as both sides agreed on the need to raise the level of communication, diplomatic coordination between the two countries.

The trade exchange volume between the two countries has risen in the recent years, reaching $ 150 million in 2015, while it was about $ 66 million in 2009.
