Minister of Transport, Communications and Maritime Ahmet Arslan, announced on Thursday that he had signed a new agreement with his counterpart, Minister of Infrastructure, land and transport "Hu in Kang", to build a suspension bridge called " Canakkale 1915," on the Dardanelles in western Turkey.
Korean minister expressed in his speech during the signing ceremony of the agreement in the Turkish capital Ankara that his country is ready to share its experiences in the economic development with Turkey.
"Hu in Kang " Stressed that his country is determined to continue the development of strategic partnership linking his country with Turkey in all fields, and fasten it in the framework of the bonds of friendship and brotherhood established between his country and Turkey since the Korean War in the fifties of the last century.
Korean minister pointed that the establishment of " Canakkale 1915" will strengthen Turkey's relations with South Korea and will push the country forward.
Minister of Transport and Communications Ahmet Arslan announced in last January the winning of four companies are the Turkish "Limak" and " Yebhi merkazi", and the south Korean "Delim" and "Sik" the tender earmarked for building the aforementioned bridge.
