"Fatih Mukhtar" specialized pediatric stated that the medical-care system in Turkey is subject to a strict instruction regarding the application of medical and technical standards, pointing that the Ministry of Health runs nearly 55% of the hospitals that are estimated as 1200 hospital, holds a local and international credits.
He added that the government's procedures have had a significant impact in the development of this sector like granting facilitations to come to Turkey, and the Turkish Airlines Network that link to all parts of the world, the appropriate price, and many other things, which made Turkey in the tenth place globally in the field of medical tourism, where she received more than 700 thousand tourists with the aim of hospitalization and treatment last year.
According to information released by the Turkish Ministry of Tourism and Culture pointed that Turkey has 1,500 natural springs, to occupy the first place on the level of Europe.
The reasons that made Turkey the center of attraction for medical tourism is attributed to several factors according the experts, among these factors the cheapest prices by 40% to 70% compared to European countries, and the number of specialized hospitals available, in addition to being one of the tourist destinations which that has wide popularity among the Middle East citizens.
